"Sharp with zero effort."

Between meetings and airports I've no time to fuss over clothes. Pulled this on before an early start and a client told me I looked well rested. It was the jumper doing the work. The cloth has proper weight to it, ideal now the mornings have turned.

"Herself told me not to change. Says it all."

Threw it on before heading out for dinner and my wife told me to leave it exactly as it was. The fabric keeps its shape all evening and doesn't crease. Grand bit of kit for the colder stretch coming in. Two more already on the way.

"Haven't let on where I get it."

The lads keep asking what's changed with the way I dress and I've said nothing. The material is thick and dense, actually keeps the autumn cold out on the walk to work. Nothing flashy about it. That's exactly why it works.

"She thought I was Italian."

First time ordering clothes online in a good while and I was worried about the fit. Came in bang on. Wore it to a dinner down by the harbour on a cold evening and stayed warm the whole night. My date reckoned I was Italian. I'm from Limerick. I'll take it.

"My father said I finally get it."

Wore it to my father's birthday meal. He's 74 and impossible to please. Halfway through he leaned in and said I'd finally figured out what decent clothes are. He even reached over to feel the cloth. That's high praise from him.

"Never a burgundy man. I am now."

The wife picked it out as a gift and I wasn't sure about the colour. Turns out the deep autumn shade is spot on. Three fellas at Sunday brunch asked where it was from. The material feels dear in the hand, in the best way. Ordered two more since.

"They thought the boat was mine."

Weekend down at a mate's marina. Had it on Saturday morning with dark jeans. By ten a couple on the pier had me down as the owner of one of the boats. It's not mine. But the cloth is heavy enough to hold up to the wind off the water, so I get why they thought it.

"Years looking for this. Finally sorted."

Spent a small fortune trying to nail this look over the years. The fabric weight here is exactly right, substantial but not stiff, and it drapes properly instead of sitting flat. Great for layering through autumn. Worn it four times and got a comment every time.

"Don't do reviews. Had to for this."

A mate showed up to a barbecue looking better turned out than the rest of us. It was Conor McNeilly. Ordered the same night. Fits perfectly at 6ft and just under 13 stone, and the fabric is a clear step above anything else in the wardrobe.

"Three orders in and going again."

Had a wedding coming up and needed something considered. The combination was perfect and a few people asked about it during the reception. The cloth has a richness the photos don't quite show. Same quality across all three orders now.

"Warm enough for the coast walks."

Bought it heading into the cold and it's become the one I reach for. The material is thick and holds the heat without any bulk. Took it walking along the coast at the weekend and it handled the wind and the drizzle grand.

You can feel the difference the second you pick it up. Dense, soft and finished properly, no thin lining or loose threads anywhere. Wore it through a wet week and it held its shape without a bother. Worth every cent.

"Autumn wardrobe sorted."

Replaced half my cold-weather gear with Conor McNeilly this season. Everything has the same dense, quality feel and the colours suit the time of year. Washes well too, no bobbling after a good few wears. Exactly what I was after.
